Companies Co-Sponsor IABC/Las Vegas 27th Annual Bronze Quill Awards

LAS VEGAS— Several high profile businesses and organizations in Nevada have joined together to co-sponsor the state’s longest running business communication awards program, the IABC/Las Vegas 27th Annual Bronze Quill Awards. The co-sponsors include the Division of Educational Outreach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; Southwest Gas; Boyd Gaming; Graphics West; MGM Mirage, Nevada Contractor; BLVDS Las Vegas; and Business Wire.

The Bronze Quill Awards is hosted by the International Association of Business Communicators/Las Vegas (IABC/Las Vegas) at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Four Seasons Hotel, located at 3960 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Tickets are $65 per person or $490 for a table of eight.

The event features networking and a raffle from 11:30 a.m. to noon, with lunch and the awards presentation following at noon. To reserve tickets, visit IABC/Las Vegas.

The Bronze Quill Awards, which recognizes business communication excellence, is the longest running communication program of its kind in Nevada and the only one to welcome entries from all business communication disciplines, including public relations, advertising, graphic design, and marketing. In all, more than 30 organizations will receive awards at this year’s event, including awards of merit, awards of excellence, and Bronze Quills.

IABC/Las Vegas is a premier network of professionals engaged in strategic business communication management. Founded in 1978, it is affiliated with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), an international network comprised of more than 14,000 business communication professionals in 70 countries.

IABC/Las Vegas has a long history in Nevada and is the International Association of Business Communicators sole chapter in the state. Proceeds from the event benefit programs designed to promote excellence in the communication industry and fund the chapter's student scholarship program, which supports students studying communication at Nevada colleges and universities.
