KVBC To Benefit Rape Crisis Center

LAS VEGAS - KVBC channel 3 anchor Nina Radetich, Mix 94.1, and the Palms Casino Resort will present the 2nd annual "Nina's Night Out" on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Palms Casino Resort.

The event will feature a performance by Mark McGrath and Sugar Ray as well as an acoustic set by Vertical Horizon at Rain. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Rape Crisis Center, which provides crisis intervention, advocacy, support, and education to victims of sexual violence.

"The Rape Crisis Center is very excited about this opportunity for the community to lend its support for the victims of sexual violence. Their participation will support us, the staff and volunteers, in helping people through such a painful time in their life," said Elizabeth Tamburri, executive director of the Rape Crisis Center. "Our gratitude to Nina and all those who support this event is immeasurable."

A VIP reception at Ghostbar will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will include appearances by McGrath and Vertical Horizon, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and a silent auction. The concert starts at 8:30 p.m. VIP tickets are $100 and general admission tickets are $50. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster, ww.ticketmaster.com.
