Kindred Healthcare Sponsors Walk

CARSON CITY - Kindred Healthcare and Creative Memories are sponsoring the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Nevada State Capitol Grounds, 101 N. Carson Street in Carson City.

Since 1989, the national Memory Walk has raised more than $175 million for programs and services for individuals with Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers. The walk takes place along the city’s historic Blue Line Trail.

Registration is free for those wishing to walk in the race. Individuals and businesses may sponsor walk participants, which will help raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information about the Memory Walk, call 775-786-8061.

The Alzheimer’s Association, the world leader in Alzheimer research and support, is a voluntary health organization dedicated to finding preventions, treatments and, eventually, a cure for Alzheimer dementia.
