Reynolds Foundation Assits FBNN

RENO, Nev. - The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation awarded a $8,194,066 grant to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada (FBNN) last March. The grant will assist FBNN in building a new state-of-the-art food distribution facility, which is tentatively scheduled to open in fall 2006.

The new Donald W. Reynolds Regional Food Distribution Center will be located on six acres of a 20-acre parcel near Parr Boulevard and Highway 395 North in Reno. The land was donated to the Food Bank in 2002 by Laperrona LLC partners.

The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation is a national philanthropic organization founded in 1954 by the late media entrepreneur for whom it is named. Headquartered in Las Vegas, it is one of the largest private foundations in the United States.
