Builder's Association Helps Trade Program

CARSON CITY, Nev. - The Builders Association of Northern Nevada donated $6,000 to the Construction trades Program at the Warm Springs Correctional Center in Carson City. The $6,000 will be used to keep the program functional until grants can be procured.

''We don't want to see a trades program that produces trained construction workers just disappear, especially one that is helping people who have taken a wrong turn somewhere in life,'' says BANN Treasurer Jim Crofoot.

One of BANN's many goals is to help provide an educated construction workforce to our community. Along with the donation to the Correctional Center, BANN has assisted ACE High School and dozens of individuals continuing their education in the building industry.
