Southwest Airlines Partners With Shakespeare

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Southwest Airlines is partnering with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival from July 14 through Aug. 21 for the Festival’s 2005 season. The Festival is highlighted by Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors, which takes center stage for 34 nights at Sand Harbor State Park at Lake Tahoe.

''For the Festival, partnering with such a highly regarded company as Southwest Airlines allows us to diversify our marketing efforts and expand our reach to new visitors looking to attend our first-class event,'' said Catherine Atack, executive director for the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. ''We are thrilled that Southwest Airlines sees the Festival as a valuable, nonprofit organization ... something that speaks volumes about the quality and overall experience our event provides to visitors to our destination. It also demonstrates the value of our corporate partnerships to current and potential sponsors.''
