Sears Gives To Las Vegas Kids

LAS VEGAS - Sears, Roebuck and Co. (Sears) donated $25,000 worth of school supplies, televisions, games, toys DVDs, clothing, sporting goods and more to the Greater Las Vegas After School All Stars.

Sears became involved with the All Stars through the ''Today'' show's Lend a Hand program with Al Roker. Team members from Sears Grand in Las Vegas personally delivered the items to the All Stars.

The Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars provides opportunities for inner-city youth to participate in free after-school and summer activities in sports, educational, cultural and community-enrichment programs. Since its inception, The Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Star program has positively affected the lives of more than 100,000 southern Nevada youth
